Lyall Randolph WILLIAMS was the first child of Harold Joseph John Williams and Annie Goodall born on 21 Sep 1901 in Petersham, Sydney, NSW, Australia and he died in 13^th February, 1975 at 195 Ocean View Road, Ettalong, NSW, Australia at age 74. He had one daughter, Annie.

Lyall a sculptor, electrician and inventor lived most of his life in the Bondi, Waverley area of Sydney, NSW, Australia.  He placed the mermaids on Ben Buckler Rock at Bondi Beach, where they caused some controversy and attracted tourists for twenty years.
